Journal of Medicine and Medical Sciences is a leading international journal devoted to the publication of original research and reviews covering applied, methodological and theoretical issues with emphasis on studies using multidisciplinary or integrative approaches. The journal aims to improve medical knowledge and ultimately health worldwide. The journal is dedicated to increasing the depth of Medicine and Medical Sciences across disciplines with the ultimate aim of improving medical research. JMMS will cover all areas of basic, clinical, experimental, preventive and social medicine. Our dedicated technical and editorial team members from different fields of medicine ensure the quality and review standards of our publications. JMMS publishes original articles, brief reports, letters to the editor and reviews.

Peer Review

Journal of Medicine and Medical Sciences follows a single-blind peer-reviewed system, which involves reviewers being aware of the identity of the authors, but authors are unaware of the identity of reviewers. There is a minimum of five reviewers for the total number of articles in each issue.

The journal will publish original research articles, reviews, editorials, commentaries, case reports and letters to the editor. We accept articles from all branches of medicine and dentistry, including basic sciences (anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, psychology, etc) and clinical sciences (internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, dental surgery, child health, laboratory sciences, radiology, community medicine, etc). We also accept articles from social science researchers that document the intermediating and background social factors influencing health in developing countries. Priority will be given to the publication of articles that describe the application of the principles of primary health care in the prevention and treatment of diseases. The Journal welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence.
