Terms and Conditions
You will receive a copy of the Terms and Conditions with the invoice. We suggest you read them before making the payment. When you make the payment, whether in full or in part, you acknowledge that you have read and understood and agree with our Terms and Conditions.
1. First Contact
You can connect with us via WhatsApp/Email. However, WhatsApp is only used for initial contact/query. Our primary mode of communication is Email. All the data and/or documents are to be shared via Email. After initial contact, any further communication, including queries and requests for updates, will only be entertained via Email.
2. Confidentiality
We understand the value of confidentiality in the field of research, be it any subject/domain. At DocEmend, we take confidentiality very seriously. We handle all your data and documents with extreme care and follow stringent approaches to ensure complete confidentiality and discretion. However, we do not take any responsibility for any type of data breach that might have occurred from your side.
3. Security
With respect to the work done at DocEmend, the term “security” is almost synonymous with “confidentiality.” We assure you that all our processes are stringently designed to prevent any data breach from our side.
4. Discretion
We will not entertain any request regarding making available the contact info or identity of the editor/writer/reviewer who worked on or was assigned to your manuscript. Similarly, your identity will be kept hidden from our experts to the maximum extent possible.
5. Payment
All payment is to be made in advance. This is non-negotiable. If you are making a payment in installments, your order will be processed as stated in our Payment Policy. If you are submitting more than one document/manuscript, the document/manuscript for which the payment has been done will be processed.
6. Discount
Our Discount Policy enlists some of the approaches through which you can avail substantial discounts for your order. DocEmend reserves the right to allow or deny any of the discounts you want to avail.
7. Refunds/Returns
A request related to a refund/return will be entertained only if you are eligible as per our Refund Policy. DocEmend reserves the right to allow or deny a refund/return or the value thereof.
8. After Order Confirmation
After order confirmation, any additions, deletions, rearrangements, or any other revisions from the client side will not be entertained. If any such revisions are to be made after order confirmation, the same must be conveyed before order confirmation. If no such intimation is provided pre-confirmation, then such revisions may confer additional fees that will vary on a case-by-case basis. If the additional fees is not paid, it might lead to order cancellation without any refund. DocEmend reserves the right to make the final decision in this regard.
9. Rework Files
If any manuscript is re-submitted for rework, it will be evaluated for the level of revisions that were introduced by the client. In case of substantial client-side revisions, additional fees may be warranted. If the additional fees is not paid, it might lead to rework cancellation without any refund. DocEmend reserves the right to make the final decision in this regard.
10. Plagiarism
If you have not opted for our plagiarism reduction service, we will not check for plagiarism and will not work on reducing the plagiarism level of the manuscript. In such cases, we will not be liable for the rejection of your work due to plagiarism. We will not provide a plagiarism report for your manuscript unless you avail of our plagiarism reduction service.
11. AI-Generated Content
DocEmend recognizes the power and benefits of the generative AI in content creation. However, all of our services are provided manually, without taking the help of AI. When you submit a manuscript to us, we recommend you declare whether it contains AI-generated content. Regardless, the presence or absence of AI-generated content does not impact our service parameters. While working, we assume that the manuscript does not contain any AI-generated content. We do not reduce or remove it. Hence, we will not be liable for any issues related to the “use of AI-generated content” that might arise during the submission stage.
12. Final Word
DocEmend reserves the right to accept or deny the acceptance of any manuscript at our discretion. We do not deny any order after receiving the payment for the same. In case we do cancel a confirmed order, we will provide you with a refund/return as per our Refund Policy.
Note: These Terms and Conditions pertain to DocEmend only. DocEmend reserves the right to alter them at any time, without any intimation to anyone. The new terms and conditions will be applicable to new orders only. The ongoing orders will be worked upon as per the outdated terms and conditions until order completion.
